These are real NASA pics. I get a different perspective about life if I see things like that. How peaceful it can be up there and how complicated "down there." When one looks at our beautiful earth one could think: "What's their problem down there?"

Viel Spass!
This is a dedication to and in memory of my first American roomates. Fun has to be part of life!
In going through my journals, I found these pictures that reminded me of some fun and unique times. These are my first roomates (except for the boy), Patchi and Patti in Provo when I arrived from Austria in 1998. These roomates will always be special to me because they were the first impression I got when I came here. I was pretty much still a stranger in this new world, but through the gospel of Jesus Christ, I felt we were all from one big family. The guy, Patto, was Patchi's friend. In any case, one day it rained like crazy. We wanted to do something and not sit around at home, but only had one umbrella (that was me--the European). We tried to all fit underneath it, but you can imagine how that was like. Finally I had THE idea--I loved jumping into big water puddles. But, I was the one with the umbrella, so the other ones got wet too. Finally, everyone found the afternoon entertainment. The goal was to baptize me by wrestling me to the ground. They were successful.
